Mobile App
The Nextcloud mobile app lets you access and upload files from your phone or tablet.
Download:
- iPhone/iPad: search "Nextcloud" in the App Store (free, by Nextcloud GmbH)
- Android: search "Nextcloud" in Google Play (free, by Nextcloud GmbH)
Connect to your ShopStack
- Open the Nextcloud app
- Tap Log in
- Enter your server URL:
https://files.YOUR_DOMAIN.woodhead.tech - Tap Connect
- Log in with your Nextcloud username and password
- Tap Grant access
Your files will appear in the app.
Browsing and uploading files
Browse files: Tap folders to navigate, tap files to preview them.
Upload a photo or file:
- Tap + (bottom of screen)
- Choose Upload files or Upload photos
- Select the file from your phone
Download a file to your phone:
- Tap the file → tap the download icon (or three dots → Download)
Auto-upload photos (optional)
You can set the app to automatically upload photos you take to Nextcloud:
- Tap the menu (≡) → Settings
- Tap Auto upload
- Toggle on Photo upload
- Choose the folder in Nextcloud where photos should go
This is useful if you take photos at your business (products, work orders, etc.) and want them backed up and accessible to your team.
Offline access
To make a file or folder available offline (viewable without internet):
- Tap the three dots (…) next to the file or folder → Make available offline
Offline files take up space on your phone but can be viewed and edited without a connection.
